Cheffins is delighted to announce its sponsorship renewal with Cambridgeshire County Cricket again this year.
The sponsorship deal, now in it’s second year, aims to remove the barriers to the sport and open up more opportunities for children in Cambridgeshire, enabling them to receive coaching and showcase their talent on the pitch.
Russell Doel, Head of Cricket Operations comments:
“Cambridgeshire Cricket offers the ability to play representative County cricket for 250 girls and boys each year. One of our challenges is to make these opportunities as accessible as possible, which includes removing as much of the cost element as possible.
Sponsorship from Cheffins has supported the girls and boys playing in ECB inter-county competitions in age groups under 16 to under 18, enabling the players to have a clear, consistent and high quality identity without the worry of paying for match tops. We are very grateful to Cheffins for their support, as are the players and parents.”
Sarah Bush, Head of Residential at Cheffins adds: “Cheffins has a long history of supporting local clubs in the region and we’re delighted to once again be supporting Cambridgeshire Cricket. Our sponsorship goes some way to levelling the playing field for young girls and boys looking to establish themselves in the sporting arena.”
The new shirt handover took place at Cheffins headquarters on Clifton Road in Cambridge on Wednesday 29th May.
