Granta Park, Cambridge

Cheffins has been involved with Granta Park on behalf of BioMed Realty Inc since 2012 and is the retained letting agent on the site.

Cheffins’ Role:

  • Advised on investment purchase for £126.8 million, which was BioMed Realty’s first deal outside of the US
  • Strategic advice on refurbishment/ letting opportunities on forthcoming lease expiries
  • Carrying out rent reviews

Outcomes:

  • Various lettings totaling circa 200,000 sq ft of office and lab space to occupiers including Gilead, Hepatares, Illumina and Mission Therapeutics
  • Currently progressing re-letting of the Watson Building and suites within The McClintock Building
