Simon joined the Cheffins Rural Department as a qualified surveyor and auctioneer in 1997 having previously worked for a firm of rural surveyors in Wiltshire. With over 25 years' experience in the rural property sector, he has a detailed knowledge of rural matters and acts for a range of landowning clients across East Anglia.  

Simon specialises in the sale and acquisition of land, farms and rural property, valuation of rural property and assets, strategic development advice and private client work. Simon is an RICS Registered Valuer and a Member of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.   

Simon is an equity partner and the joint Managing Partner at Cheffins, which is a position he has held since 2017. He is a past President of the Cambs & Isle of Ely Agricultural Valuers Association and was an examiner for the Eastern Group Agricultural Valuers Association for 10 years.
