Jonathan joined Cheffins in January 2023. Jonathan is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors having qualified in 2017 and is an RICS Registered Valuer. He is also a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV).

Prior to joining Cheffins, Jonathan provided technical advice to HM Revenue & Customs in relation to Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax valuations and advised acquiring authorities on a variety of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) in the region.

Jonathan undertakes a wider variety of work including; rural agency, valuations, compulsory purchase, Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) services and a range of rural professional work. Jonathan’s work is mainly focused around Cambridgeshire and the adjoining counties.

Jonathan is on the committee of the Cambridgeshire & Isle of Ely Agricultural Valuers Association and is the Probation Officer providing support to new candidates looking to qualify as an agricultural valuer within the area.
