Cheffins' market leading Ely office is looking for a full-time, experienced Senior Negotiator, working alongside a driven and friendly team of property professionals within Residential Sales.  

Our Ely Residential Sales office specialises in properties for sale ranging from city centre homes to village properties, new developments and houses with land. We sell more properties in our area than any other Ely estate agent.


Your role in the team would be:

Offering a welcoming and first class service to our clients and working closely with the team to negotiate sales and create instructions. You will also have the opportunity to take an active role in the smooth day to day operation of the office.

You would be working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturdays on a rota basis 9.00am to 4.00pm, with a day off in lieu.  


What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Estate Agency in a Sales Negotiator role
  • Enjoy a varied, fast-paced and rewarding role, with the ability to organise your workload to meet multiple deadlines
  • Strong IT skills and enthusiasm for embracing ever changing and advancing technology
  • Self-motivated individual who also enjoys working as part of a team
  • A desire to provide excellent client care with a high level of attention to detail
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Use of own vehicle which is insured for business use.

Main purpose / scope of role:

  • Registering and qualifying applicants
  • Informing buyers of new instructions
  • Arranging and carrying out viewings
  • Reporting feedback to clients in a timely manner
  • Dealing with all enquiries via telephone, email and face to face
  • Negotiating and agreeing sales
  • Sales Progression when necessary
  • Arranging market appraisals
