Ruth joined Cheffins as a Senior Planner as part of an acquisition in 2021. She has a background as a town planner in both local government and private consultancy and formerly worked in rural community development. She gained Chartership of the RTPI in 2022.

Ruth manages all types of applications and advice as required by the client and especially enjoys residential and rural opportunities. She has worked with some key land-owning and farming clients for over seven years to develop multiple projects for them.

Growing up in Cambridge Ruth knows the County particularly well, but regularly undertakes projects in the wider region.

Ruth is part of the management team of a local community centre, helping oversee the maintenance and use of the building.
