Uptake in planning applications for self storage schemes as farmers look to diversify income streams Published:Thu 07 Jan 2021
Cheffins has seen a steady flow of enquiries for self-storage applications throughout 2020. As part of a farm diversification project, planning permission was approved for a new self-storage facility near Great Chesterford in July 2020. This comprehensive scheme will see around 80 shipping containers used to provide over 3,600 square metres of storage space once complete. Working alongside long-standing agricultural clients, Cheffins has actively sought out planning approvals for various farm diversification schemes across the Eastern region.
