A magnificent pair of emerald and diamond earrings made by a company once described as ‘the finest jewellers in the world’ is an eye-catching entry in Cheffins’ Jewellery, Silver and Watches Sale on Thursday 1st August.

Described as ‘a pair of asymmetric double clusters featuring 12.5cts of diamonds and 5cts of emeralds’, the earrings have been given a conservative estimate of £10,000 - £15,000

They were made by London jewellers Graff, a name synonymous luxury and exceptional quality. The company’s founder and chairman, Laurence Graff OBE, is an enthusiastic buyer of the largest and most valuable diamonds in the world, including the Golden Empress, at 132 carats one of the largest yellow diamonds ever cut; and the Graff Lesedi la Ronda, the largest, highest colour and highest clarity diamond in the world.

Graff is well established as a world leader in the diamond market and has among its clients Kings and Queens, heads of states, pop superstars and the rich and famous. Jewellery made by Graff rarely makes an appearance at auction.

Steven Collins, head of jewellery, silver and watches at Cheffins, said: “I am thrilled at having these beautiful pair of earrings in the sale and when it comes to diamonds and fabulous jewellery, the name Graff is right at the top of the list.

“Taking into account how rarely Graff jewellery comes on the market at auction as well as the quality and beauty of these earrings, I am expecting them to attract a lot of interest, not just here in the UK, but also internationally.”
