Viewing – entry to the saleroom on the day of the sale is by catalogue only which admits two people. Catalogues can be purchased from the Fine Art reception on the day of the sale. Viewing starts at 9am and the sale will begin at 6pm. Due to the capacity of the room, possession of the catalogue does not necessarily guarantee entry to the sale and we advise people to come early.
Bidding – you will need to register in advance to bid which can be done on the day of the sale. To register, you will need to provide proof of identity in the form of a Driving Licence, Passport or other approved format as well as proof of address.
Buyer’s Premium – all lots are subject to buyer’s premium on top of the hammer price; this is charged at 22.5% + VAT (27% inclusive). Some lots may also be subject to ‘Artists Resale Right’; these lots are denoted by a § in the catalogue.
Online bidding – you can register to bid live online via the catalogue page for the Keith Flint Collection on our website. We advise you do this as far in advance of the sale as possible. You will be able to listen and watch the sale as it happens. If you successfully purchase an item, this service attracts an additional surcharge of 3% + VAT.
Watching the sale – you will be able to watch the sale live on the same link on our website.
Parking – Cheffins has marked parking bays around the side and rear of the building. There is a multi-storey car park within 200 metres of the saleroom where Cheffins clients have a concessionary rate. Parking in any of these areas is at the owner’s risk.
Rail Travel – The saleroom is a 15 minute walk from Cambridge railway station. You are advised to check train times with the National Rail Enquiry Service, 0845 7484950 (local rate). Trains from London King’s Cross and London Liverpool Street connect to Cambridge station. If you are coming from Ely or the north, do not disembark at Cambridge North; remain on the train until Cambridge station.
