The former Millers Music unit, on Sussex Street in the centre of Cambridge, is now available to let.

The unit, which comprises of two storeys of retail space spanning over 2,300 sq ft, is one of the most prominent retail shops on Sussex Street, one of Cambridge’s most well-established shopping destinations.

Millers Music, which previously occupied three units on Sussex Street, will now be operating solely from unit 14. The shop comes available following two recent lettings on the street, unit 12 to Roundhouse Kitchen Design and 5-7 Sussex Street to men’s fashion retailer, Dogfish, having previously been occupied by The Tailor’s Cat.

Sussex Street, which is managed by Cheffins on behalf of Sidney Sussex College, continues to go from strength to strength with a variety of new high end and independent retailers.

Darren Hill, Associate at Cheffins who manages Sussex Street comments:

“Sussex Street seems to have bucked the trend during the Covid-19 pandemic and continues to offer attractive and competitively priced secondary retail space for a variety of national occupiers and independents including, Fired Earth, Trotter and Deane, Bravissimo and Robert Graham. In addition, a number of tenants have also committed to new leases during the past 18 months, demonstrating their long-term confidence in the location and voids have remained at a very low level in comparison to other City Centre locations.”

Unit 13 is available to let for £45,000 per annum.
