Oliver joined Cheffins in January 2006, became an equity director in 2020 and at the same time was appointed head of the Machinery Division, encompassing the renowned Cambridge Machinery Sales, as well as Vintage and On-site auctions. 

Oliver is the principal tractor auctioneer at the Cambridge Machinery Sales as well as the lead auctioneer at the Cambridge Vintage Sales and conducts live and online on-site auctions throughout the UK. He has offered for sale some of the rarest vintage and classic tractors in the UK including several tractors which have achieved UK record prices including the County 1474 which fetched an astonishing £200,000. 

A RICS accredited valuer, he undertakes valuations for a variety of purposes including for Capital Taxes, Family Division and Marketing purposes. As well as being a qualified Chartered Surveyor he is also a qualified J3 rough terrain forklift operator!
