Charles joined Cheffins in 2021 and has been a Divisional Director since 2024.  His role encompasses auctioneering and the valuation and sale of modern and vintage machinery and equipment, as well as providing general professional advice. He is responsible for on-site auctions of both modern and vintage machinery, which are undertaken throughout the UK. 

Charles is a principal auctioneer for Cheffins, regularly selling at onsite farm dispersal auctions and at the Cheffins vintage collective auctions and the Cambridge Machinery Sales.  

As a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Agricultural Valuer, Charles has gained significant experience in valuing and selling agricultural machinery including modern, classic and vintage tractors, for a variety of purposes, such as loan security, insolvency, inheritance and capital gains tax, sale and purchase, business and family division.  Many of these valuations being under the RICS Registered Valuer Red Book scheme.
