Standing Female Nude
ink
37 x 24cm

Provenance:
Collection of H.S. Jim Ede
With Anthony Hepworth Fine Art, Bath

Not examined out of the frame, margins are obscured by the mount so not available for inspection. In the top two corners two pale rectangles are visible beneath the paper support, likely where the work is fixed to the backboard. There are some shallow handling creases throughout, mostly localised to the lower left quadrant and possibly a small closed tear or deep crease (approx 1mm in length) on the right hand edge. There are a handful of small scattered accretions across the page and two small holes, possibly from insect damage, one located to the lower right quadrant and one on the right tricep of the sitter. The paper is uniformly toned throughout commensurate with age, but deepens in colour at the outermost edges where the support meets the mount. Ink is slightly faded but in good order
