A Japanese brass singing bowl, Meiji Period,

with cusped rim and hand-hammered body, on a period red and gold lacquered four-legged stand; together with original red lacquered clapper

31.5cm diameter x 23cm high - just the bowl
Clapper has severe flaking and chipping and leather is dry. The bowl is good. The stand has a few small stress cracks and rubbing of lacquered commensurate with use and age
